An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Peronard in the 10th minute of play forced Tacupa AFC's goalkeeper Benicio Ascuí to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristeo Menichetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrico Saso having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Tacupa AFC's Quintín Blanchetau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrico Saso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reinaldo Vila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrico Saso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Reinaldo Vila struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Henrico Saso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacupa AFC. Henrico Saso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Vila in the 27th minute. The supporters of Tacupa AFC booed when GERALD AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro León didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrico Saso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aristeo Menichetti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacupa AFC's goalkeeper Benicio Ascuí, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GERALD AFC's Henrico Saso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save GERALD AFC from getting a goal against them. Aristeo Menichetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Henrico Saso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Aristeo Menichetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrico Saso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Vila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Rafael Benavente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrico Saso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Soffia in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Quintín Blanchetau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacupa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quintín Blanchetau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrico Saso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristeo Menichetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to GERALD AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Iván Luis Carnevalli hit a great ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Aristeo Menichetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GERALD AFC's Henrico Saso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 74 in the game by Rafael Benavente from a close distance when the talented Benicio Ascuí managed to make a qualified save. Tacupa AFC's players were relieved. Rafael Benavente succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 77th playminute. In the 85th minute, Aristeo Menichetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrico Saso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Tacupa AFC's Reinaldo Vila in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
