Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Raúl Isassi got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Galvarino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Oxman came free, but Clemente Mac Rostie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Mac Rostie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rexino Vega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urtsín Bolton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Clemente Mac Rostie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Galvarino FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Modesto Mariño hit a great ball. Raimundo Oxman struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Clemente Mac Rostie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancagua. Urtsín Bolton took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Mac Rostie. Clemente Mac Rostie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cornelio Riveros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Héctor Barriga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Mac Rostie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtsín Bolton, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtsín Bolton in the 19th minute of play forced Galvarino FC's goalkeeper Clemente Mac Rostie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manu Serrano kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Miguel Hernánde Escobillana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Raúl Isassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. In the 44th play minute Cornelio Riveros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Héctor Barriga. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Urtsín Bolton made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galvarino FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romelio Helo was slow to take the kick. During this time Rancagua's players had a chance to rest. Romelio Helo made a great header on Rancagua's corner, it was just that Galvarino FC's Clemente Mac Rostie managed to reach the ball for a save. Loreno Camara hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Galvarino FC's Clemente Mac Rostie got control of the ball when Raimundo Oxman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Raimundo Oxman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rancagua's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Oxman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Mac Rostie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urtsín Bolton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Raimundo Oxman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Clemente Mac Rostie made a huge save. Urtsín Bolton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Rexino Vega notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Galvarino FC's Clemente Mac Rostie. Clemente Mac Rostie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rancagua's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
