A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bonifacio Guichard came out of the goal and Victorio Huilcaman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 played minutes Los Guerreros got a freekick which was hit by Karlos Jeréz. Bonifacio Guichard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Huilcaman in the 59th minute of play. Ruyman Gebauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Guichard having to interfere. If Ruyman Gebauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Huilcaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
