When CDU Católica's Anselmo Quiroga in 3 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Julio Sigorraga guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 7 minutes Minetue's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Mardarie who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alex Mardarie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Sigorraga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Anselmo Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDU Católica's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Sigorraga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute Anselmo Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Sigorraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Bazaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Mădălin Neaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narcís Guajardo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CDU Católica's Narcís Guajardo got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Fortunato Van Sloten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Sigorraga was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Julio Sigorraga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Quiroga went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Minetue's Julio Sigorraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Quiroga in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Fortunato Van Sloten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Sigorraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Pais fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 79 played minutes Minetue got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Pais. The supporters of CDU Católica booed when Minetue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Gormaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Quiroga in the 93rd minute of play forced Minetue's goalkeeper Julio Sigorraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Minetue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elodio Echaurren to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CDU Católica had played much better football throughout.
