After some careless play in the Quinamavida AFC defense, Dante Alviña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Maritano. The Quinamavida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Maritano should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute, Simón Gerbella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Alviña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Maritano having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Natalio Melinao rounded Deportivo Liceo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Natalio Melinao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Abraham Madaune tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Dante Alviña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Iván Luis Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Deportivo Liceo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iván Luis Arias to strike the kick off in the second half. Iván Luis Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. The supporters of Deportivo Liceo booed when Quinamavida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Cerda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Liceo's Alesandro Barbosa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Severiano Maritano but with some difficulty. After some careless play in the Quinamavida AFC defense, Dante Alviña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Maritano. The Quinamavida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Maritano should have stopped the shot. José Ignacio Eyzaguirre kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Abraham Madaune made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simón Gerbella in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo Liceo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Nestor Casanueva hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Iván Luis Arias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severiano Maritano. The goal made the score 1-4. Deportivo Liceo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
