Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5559, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Cantarrana's Romualdo Guardia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Epifanío Kroon hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Marquesa AFC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Cantarrana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tauro Bonvallet took the corner. Marquesa AFC's Tauro Bonvallet was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ervigio Moltedo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Manu Súnico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mark Salva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Txomin Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Mark Salva made a huge save. Andreo Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ervigio Moltedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Maralla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Maralla couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txomin Cardoso got free with Mark Salva in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Brian Maralla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreo Paredes was the one to do the kick off. Mark Salva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romualdo Guardia's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 56 played minutes, Marquesa AFC's Maximiliano Malky shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ervigio Moltedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marquesa AFC reached it. In the 60th match minute, Marquesa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Vos de Vos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txomin Cardoso in the 63rd minute of play forced Marquesa AFC's goalkeeper Mark Salva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cantarrana getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ronaldo Riveros hit a great ball. Ervigio Moltedo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tauro Bonvallet. Romualdo Guardia struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Mark Salva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantarrana. Andreo Paredes might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ervigio Moltedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreo Paredes ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreo Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cantarrana fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marquesa AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
