After 12 minutes, Candido Thomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgrano CBA and the Alcerreca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Belgrano CBA got a freekick which was hit by Candido Thomas. Belgrano CBA's Teodosio Dinamarca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano CBA from getting a goal against them. Alcerreca's Sisebuto Garzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Quitral in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Belgrano CBA's Ronaldo Quitral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sisebuto Garzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgrano CBA's goalkeeper Teodosio Dinamarca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldo Quitral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sisebuto Garzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Alcerreca got a freekick which was hit by Juan Alberto Marquéz. After a rather tough play, Alcerreca's Juan Alberto Marquéz got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Inocencio Erwens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcerreca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Erwens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerónimo Koch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerónimo Koch in the 36th minute of play forced Belgrano CBA's goalkeeper Teodosio Dinamarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcerreca's Dante Monti got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerónimo Koch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Teodosio Dinamarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amador Brizuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sisebuto Garzo having to interfere. In the 70th minute of the match Haroldo Calvetti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodosio Dinamarca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodosio Dinamarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Erwens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Delmiro Vivanco fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgrano CBA's protests and gave Delmiro Vivanco a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Belgrano CBA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Belgrano CBA:s Teodosio Dinamarca showed great skill when he stopped Vinos Riquelme:s penalty. Vinos Riquelme scored 2-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosio Dinamarca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teodosio Dinamarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcerreca. In the 89th minute, Amador Brizuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Belgrano CBA getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Candido Thomas hit a great ball. If Inocencio Erwens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Dinamarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Erwens in the 95th minute of the match. Christian Sadin hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Belgrano CBA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
