Hugo Puyol didn't get a good kick on the ball. EL RUBIO FC's César Payten got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Quintín Peluchonneau notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pacagua AFC's Val Durand. Val Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If César Payten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. César Payten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Val Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, César Payten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Val Durand. Pacagua AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that César Payten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 26thth minute of the game César Payten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pacagua AFC's Val Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Val Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Burboa in the 28th minute of play. César Payten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Val Durand having to make a save. Paulino Burboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Val Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If César Payten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, César Payten managed to get in a good position for a shot. EL RUBIO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but César Payten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Val Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

EL RUBIO FC's Sisebuto Markmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Ascue in the 51st minute of play. Pacagua AFC's Val Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Pacagua AFC from getting a goal against them. César Payten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Val Durand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 61 minutes into the match, Pacagua AFC's goalkeeper Val Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César Payten. Val Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César Payten's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Pacagua AFC's Hugo Puyol got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Hugo Puyol off the ground. Alarico Srain kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Pacagua AFC's Val Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Burboa in the 72nd minute of play. In the 81st minute Gonzalo Kroon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sisebuto Markmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Payten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Val Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Payten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When César Payten came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the EL RUBIO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Payten couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Pacagua AFC's zone, Mercurio Eyzaguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Val Durand came out of the goal and Mercurio Eyzaguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pacagua AFC's Pedro Manuel Solminihac got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute EL RUBIO FC were awarded a corner. César Payten went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which César Payten managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
