The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Incaguasi FC's Fabián Pantoja got a free kick in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Osorno F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Cruzat came free, but Guido Abuauad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Abuauad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcís Catrileo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Incaguasi FC's Josías Schroeders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelmo García in the 20th minute of play. Iván Cruzat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Abuauad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Guido Abuauad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iván Cruzat in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Incaguasi FC's Narcís Catrileo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guido Abuauad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Incaguasi FC's Narcís Catrileo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelmo García made a kick off. If Cecilio Erazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Lucas Millán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Erazo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josías Schroeders having to interfere. Cecilio Erazo scored 1-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josías Schroeders, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Feliberto Smitmans came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Osorno F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Smitmans couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Incaguasi FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Fabián Pantoja hit a great ball. Narcís Catrileos short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Guido Abuauad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the game, Incaguasi FC's Narcís Catrileo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a defensive mix-up in Incaguasi FC's zone, Adelmo García stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josías Schroeders came out of the goal and Adelmo García tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes, Jacinto Zurieta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Incaguasi FC and the Osorno F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Incaguasi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Zurieta to maneuver through the defense. Osorno F.C's Adelmo García got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Incaguasi FC's zone, Cecilio Erazo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josías Schroeders came out of the goal and Cecilio Erazo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Incaguasi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
