Milián Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Guillermo Morel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Milián Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pailad FC's Eufrasio Ariztía got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Juan Cristóbal Bayo made a precise shot to the right of Guillermo Morel. Unión Quilpué F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Guillermo Morel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milián Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milián Polo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guillermo Morel having to make a save. Marciano Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Claude having to interfere. When Juan Cristóbal Bayo came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pailad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Cristóbal Bayo couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Morel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Unión Quilpué F.C defense, Juan Cristóbal Bayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillermo Morel. The Unión Quilpué F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillermo Morel should have stopped the shot. After the first half Pailad FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Milián Polo to strike the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Morel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Cristóbal Bayo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Tomasino Merino hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Roberto Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saúl Casanueva, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Pailad FC's Juan Cristóbal Bayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Morel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. When Juan Cristóbal Bayo came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Pailad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Cristóbal Bayo couldn't finish the play. If Juan Cristóbal Bayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unión Quilpué F.C's Guillermo Morel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Unión Quilpué F.C from getting a goal against them. Juan Cristóbal Bayos short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Guillermo Morel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guillermo Morel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milián Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milián Polo might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Morel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milián Polo ran back to his position shaking his head. Unión Quilpué F.C's Guillermo Morel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Unión Quilpué F.C from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Morel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Cristóbal Bayo in the 76th minute. After 83 played minutes Pailad FC got a freekick which was hit by Eufrasio Ariztía. Juan Cristóbal Bayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pailad FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
