In the 40th minute Natalio Price shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Killinge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio Costas short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Ulises Faúndez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Esquivel made a kick off. Ysmael Killinge made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Herminio Esquivel sent off a good shot on target.
