After a rather tough play, Berenguela AFC's Dino Esquivel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Uriel Albarran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berenguela AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metahue the free kick. A collision led to Berenguela AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Uriel Albarran hit a great ball. Alfredo Inostroza charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Inostroza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Inostroza hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Zebulón Bombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mateo Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Fabián Sáenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebulón Bombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Ervigio Martel put in a rough tackle. In the 15th minute, one of Metahue:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Metahue. After a rather tough play, Berenguela AFC's Efraín Vicuña got a free kick in the 25th minute. Fabián Sáenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Claude having to interfere. Efraín Vicuña's late challenge caught a Metahue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efraín Vicuña helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Berenguela AFC's Efraín Vicuña got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With his leg Xalvador Badal managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Metahue's Cristiano Velarde fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Guillermo Argomedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xalvador Badal. Berenguela AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristiano Velarde's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Xalvador Badal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Zebulón Bombal got free with Mateo Claude in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Eduardo Arbieto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Efraín Vicuña came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Berenguela AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efraín Vicuña couldn't finish the play. If Juan Eduardo Arbieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Berenguela AFC booed when Metahue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Velarde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Velarde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Xalvador Badal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xalvador Badal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Velarde in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Metahue got a freekick which was hit by Omar Mamani. In the 85th minute, Uriel Albarran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabián Sáenz in the 86th minute of play forced Metahue's goalkeeper Mateo Claude to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Velarde hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Berenguela AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Metahue's much stronger midfield.
