The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Altar's Ramon María Bishara got control of the ball when Jorge Vicente Ferrari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xamín Rioseco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliazar Mac Lean in the 20th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geofredo Palma during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Altar booed when Aymani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geofredo Palma didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Vicente Ferrari got free with Ramon María Bishara in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jorge Vicente Ferrari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Vicente Ferrari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ramon María Bishara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Dol to strike the kick off in the second half. Roberto Jina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Eliazar Mac Lean came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Altar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliazar Mac Lean couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Eliazar Mac Lean fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Roberto Jina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliazar Mac Lean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliazar Mac Lean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Xamín Rioseco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
