Bautista Villalba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Letelier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Yumbel's Cristián Rocuant dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Justo Walton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estebano Bastías, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Estebano Bastías received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Justo Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Cristián Rocuant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yumbel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristián Rocuant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th play minute Cristián Rocuant came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Justo Walton. 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Estebano Bastías was the one to do the kick off. Cristián Rocuant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Justo Walton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Real Condor FC's zone, Cristián Rocuant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Walton came out of the goal and Cristián Rocuant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Bruce kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Estebano Bastías in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Walton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Letelier did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Bautista Villalba 66 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristián Rocuant in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Justo Walton saved Real Condor FC from getting behind. Estebano Bastías fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Walton having to interfere. When Erasmo Guardia came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Real Condor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Guardia couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Cristián Rocuant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yumbel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristián Rocuant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yumbel's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
