The player immediately received a yellow card. 31 minutes into the game, one of Choquelimpie:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. José Francisco Butto had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Justo Huerta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batista Chiguaicura in the 44th minute of play forced Caliboro FC's goalkeeper Esequiel Tornero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes, Oscar Sola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Choquelimpie and the Caliboro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
