After the first half Quintalito were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Alcalde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Trumbull in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ursino Cristofanini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Fausto Trumbull put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ursino Cristofanini. Quintán Taylor charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quintán Taylor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Trumbull in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ursino Cristofanini saved Quintalito from getting behind. Arnoldo Alcalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esequiel Tornero having to interfere. If Baltazar Cuevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Quintalito's Arnoldo Alcalde slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esequiel Tornero. That made the score 1-2 after 87 minutes of play. 91 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Alcalde dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esequiel Tornero, 1-3. Esequiel Tornero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Alcalde in the 95th minute of the match. Arnoldo Alcalde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esequiel Tornero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
