Duardo Livingstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarías Longa, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Quelentaro's Zacarías Longa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duardo Livingstone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zacarías Longa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duardo Livingstone having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mercurio Didier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duardo Livingstone was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Zacarías Longa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duardo Livingstone having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Mercurio Didier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quelentaro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Burboa was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Nestor Llaullau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quelentaro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportes Valdivia the free kick. A collision led to Quelentaro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nestor Llaullau hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Roque Zegers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Deportes Valdivia got a freekick which was hit by Jose Ramon Anziani. Quelentaro's Elías Portusagasti couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportes Valdivia. After 62 played minutes Deportes Valdivia got a freekick which was hit by Jose Ramon Anziani. Mercurio Didier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Quelentaro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mercurio Didier got in the 67th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Duardo Livingstone handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Duardo Livingstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mercurio Didier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mercurio Didier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Zacarías Longa hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Quelentaro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportes Valdivia.
