Raúl Adelsdorfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Artigas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Molle AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emilio Felipe Asencio was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportes Nacimiento's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Alifonso Mayol at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Molle AFC. 1-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Molle AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
