Comalle FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paquisa FC the free kick. A collision led to Comalle FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Leonardo Rebolledo hit a great ball. Carlos Manuel Turpin struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Leonel Hermosilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paquisa FC. Genaro Coulin hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Jose Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paquisa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robustiano Novoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Hermosilla having to interfere. If Jose Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Paquisa FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Saverio Sandoval hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Ceferino Aguad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Patricio Baeza fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Comalle FC's protests and gave Patricio Baeza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Comalle FC's Patricio Baeza got a free kick in the 28th minute. Jose Varela took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Hermosilla. Leonel Hermosilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Albino Poveda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Hermosilla having to make a save. Leonel Hermosilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Varela's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Albino Poveda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Comalle FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paquisa FC were winning 0-2.

Comalle FC's Leonel Hermosilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Comalle FC from getting a goal against them. Jose Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Hermosilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Jose Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Hermosilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Varela in the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Saverio Sandoval managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paquisa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Sandoval was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonel Hermosilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robustiano Novoa during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robustiano Novoa hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Leonel Hermosilla didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Paquisa FC's Jose Varela shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Leonel Hermosilla was a little too slow when Jose Varela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Comalle FC's zone, Jose Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Hermosilla came out of the goal and Jose Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Comalle FC's Leonel Hermosilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Varela in the 75th minute of play. Paquisa FC's Albino Poveda got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Robustiano Novoa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leonel Hermosilla, passed just outside the right post. When the final whistle sounded Paquisa FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Comalle FC.
