Andreo Huici came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Limache FC's Joel Freitas. But to his dismay, Joel Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 18th minute Eustaquio Warner suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Los Nefitas F.C booed when Limache FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Klein didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Moñiz got free with Reynaldo Squella in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reynaldo Squella made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jeronimo Moñiz sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Limache FC's zone, Sebastiano Jáuregui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Squella came out of the goal and Sebastiano Jáuregui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Limache FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Jeronimo Moñiz scored to the left of an out of position Reynaldo Squella, making the score, 2-1. If Jeronimo Moñiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreo Huici having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Freitas during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeronimo Moñiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Oriol Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oriol Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st minute, Oriol Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Limache FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Genaro Klein hit a great ball. Reynaldo Squella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Moñiz in the 55th minute of the match. Sebastiano Jáuregui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Reynaldo Squella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Los Nefitas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Paes came free, but Andreo Huici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Moñiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Vidal made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Evaristo Salinas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Moñiz in the 71st minute of play forced Limache FC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Squella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jeronimo Moñiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Los Nefitas F.C's Andreo Huici got control of the ball when Joel Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Jeronimo Moñiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Limache FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Moñiz came free, but Reynaldo Squella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Squella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Moñiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Nefitas F.C's Benicio Vidal pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 94th minute, Los Nefitas F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Freitas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
