Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amato Irisarri started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Challaserca FC's Emilio Pereda got control of the ball when Ambrosio Garretón tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 5 minutes, Ambrosio Garretón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Misquihue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Garretón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celedonio Ceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Celedonio Ceron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Carlos José Santiago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ambrosio Garretón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Misquihue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caupolicán Beca to maneuver through the defense. Felipo Puente's late challenge caught a Misquihue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipo Puente helped the player get up and apologised. Challaserca FC's Emilio Pereda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Challaserca FC from getting a goal against them. When Amato Irisarri fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Misquihue's protests and gave Amato Irisarri a yellow card for diving instead. Amato Irisarri kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celedonio Ceron in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos José Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambrosio Garretón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The nice shot from Ambrosio Garretón in the 41stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Emilio Pereda had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Emilio Pereda made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ambrosio Garretón sent off a good shot on target. Misquihue's Sergi Martin pulled a muscle in his back after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 47th minute, Jordi Guilisasti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 48th minute, when Misquihue's Mario Piñera after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Emilio Pereda in Challaserca FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Celedonio Ceron made the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Garretón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Javier Dietsch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Ambrosio Garretón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Challaserca FC's Emilio Pereda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilio Pereda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Garretón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Misquihue's Ambrosio Garretón got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Garretón cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Emilio Pereda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Pereda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Garretón in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Challaserca FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Javier Dietsch came free, but Emilio Pereda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Javier Dietsch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Pereda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerard Droste got free with Carlos José Santiago in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos José Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Ceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Amato Irisarri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Celedonio Ceron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Challaserca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Ceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Pereda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Garretón in the 90th minute of play. Misquihue's José Javier Dietsch suffered a sore thigh after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edilberto Ustariz's late challenge caught a Misquihue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amato Irisarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Pereda having to interfere. Misquihue walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
