Remicio Ascue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefano Ariza in the 4th minute of the match. Remicio Ascue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Anthony in the 8th minute of play. Karlos Manzur struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Xabel Florido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chipallanta. Chipallanta's Enrico Berrio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Xabel Florido but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karlos Manzur during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Chipallanta got a freekick which was hit by Karlos Manzur. Algarrobo AFC's Xabel Florido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karlos Manzur in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Valiente Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of Xabel Florido. Algarrobo AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Algarrobo AFC's goalkeeper Xabel Florido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Xabel Florido successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th match minute, Chipallanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romano Faraggi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Anthony in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remicio Ascue prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Chipallanta's Valiente Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xabel Florido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Chipallanta got a freekick which was hit by Romano Faraggi. The supporters of Chipallanta booed when Algarrobo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Guichard didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valiente Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Chipallanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valiente Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Stefano Ariza made the kick off in the second half. If Stefano Ariza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Chipallanta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stefano Ariza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Algarrobo AFC booed when Chipallanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romano Faraggi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Berroeta kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chipallanta's zone, Stefano Ariza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remicio Ascue came out of the goal and Stefano Ariza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th match minute, Chipallanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romano Faraggi to maneuver through the defense. Karlos Manzur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Xabel Florido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Algarrobo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Valiente Hoffmann came free, but Xabel Florido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Algarrobo AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chipallanta.
