After 10 played minutes El ToRrEóN FC got a freekick which was hit by Brian Boroevic. When Carlo Muñiz came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Damascal AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Muñiz couldn't finish the play. Brian Boroevic's late challenge caught a Damascal AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brian Boroevic helped the player get up and apologised. Patxi Salas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, El ToRrEóN FC's Barni Gronows made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicodemo Hinojosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ubaldo Markmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Juan Eduardo Sojo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El ToRrEóN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Eduardo Sojo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodemo Hinojosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barni Gronows fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodemo Hinojosa having to interfere. A collision led to Damascal AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Francisco José Cabrera hit a great ball. If Juan Eduardo Sojo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute, Juan Eduardo Sojo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicodemo Hinojosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Eduardo Sojo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Barni Gronows sped through Damascal AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicodemo Hinojosa. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Juan Eduardo Sojo might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicodemo Hinojosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Eduardo Sojo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute, Ubaldo Markmann fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicodemo Hinojosa, passed just outside the right post. Damascal AFC's Nicodemo Hinojosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Eduardo Sojo in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Damascal AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Patxi Salas hit a great ball. Damascal AFC's Nicodemo Hinojosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Damascal AFC from getting a goal against them. After 92 played minutes El ToRrEóN FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatán Patau. El ToRrEóN FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
