Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ursino Iparraguirre to make the kick off. José Julio Gallegos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Smitmans went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Romildo Bourchier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Julio Gallegos having to interfere. José Julio Gallegos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Smitmans's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Romildo Bourchiers short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got José Julio Gallegos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
