After a defensive mix-up in Arepunra FC's zone, Octavio Valdenebro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Serre came out of the goal and Octavio Valdenebro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute of the match, Hugo Perl got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacobo Serre was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Granizo FC booed when Arepunra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Emanuel Otava sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Serre skillfully saved the ball. Vasco Linacre kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A hard shot 27 in the game by Hugo Perl from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Serre managed to make a qualified save. Arepunra FC's players were relieved. Octavio Valdenebro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Octavio Valdenebro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Regino Del Fierro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Serre skillfully saved the ball. In the 43rd minute, Romildo Bourchier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Granizo FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Soriano Malherbe hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Smitmans made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Granizo FC's Heliodoro Botello got a free kick in the 51st minute. Octavio Valdenebro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Soriano Almadel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arepunra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granizo FC the free kick. In the 60th minute, Soriano Almadel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Granizo FC's Emanuel Otava couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arepunra FC. Octavio Valdenebro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Serre having to interfere. If Hugo Perl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Otava was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arepunra FC's Jacobo Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezmundo Marticorena in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Soriano Malherbe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granizo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arepunra FC the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Granizo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soriano Malherbe to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Saúl Pasenau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Arepunra FC's zone, Hugo Perl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Serre came out of the goal and Hugo Perl tried to chip the ball over his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Valdenebro in the 97th minute of play forced Arepunra FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
