The supporters of Mantilhue booed when Malcio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Antonio Huidobro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Antonio Huidobro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josías Amesti saved Mantilhue from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefano Vlahovic to make the kick off. Juan Alfonso La Motte's late challenge caught a Mantilhue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Alfonso La Motte helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Malcio AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Juan Alfonso La Motte hit a great ball. Josías Amesti made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Manuel Antonio Huidobro sent off a good shot on target. Roger Fadda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefano Vlahovic in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincente Pagueguy in the 65th minute of play forced Malcio AFC's goalkeeper Roger Fadda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manuel Antonio Huidobro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Stefano Vlahovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mantilhue's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefano Vlahovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Fadda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Malcio AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mantilhue.
