After 5 minutes, Humberto Evans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terremoto and the Humberstone FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Humberto Evans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Terremoto's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Esteban Peragallo came free, but Gilberto Victoriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Catalán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermelando Briceño in the 12th minute of the match. Humberstone FC's Cosme Catalán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Evans in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Terremoto getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Humberto Evans hit a great ball. Cosme Catalán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rufino Arcangel in the 26th minute. Cosme Catalán made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Francisco Alberto Manieu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Evans in the 33rd minute of play forced Humberstone FC's goalkeeper Cosme Catalán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Humberstone FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Higinio Bacheler was slow to take the kick. During this time Terremoto's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siluna Charme got free with Cosme Catalán in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Siluna Charme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Terremoto's Humberto Evans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cosme Catalán. That made the score 1-1 after 40 minutes of play. After 44 minutes of play, Terremoto's Siluna Charme made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Catalán was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Siluna Charme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Cosme Catalán was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Siluna Charme took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Catalán. Cosme Catalán dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Humberstone FC's Donato Ocampo got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Humberstone FC's goalkeeper Cosme Catalán, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosme Catalán showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermelando Briceño in the 63rd minute of the match. When Terremoto's Hermelando Briceño in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Humberstone FC's goalie prevented a goal. Humberto Evans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute, Rufino Arcangel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terremoto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Siluna Charme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Siluna Charme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terremoto's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Evans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Catalán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosme Catalán didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siluna Charme went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Hermelando Briceño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Terremoto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
