Xulián Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xulián Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Union temuko F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Xulián Urbano hit a great ball. Simón Narea made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Rufino Arcangel sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Rufino Arcangel could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Simón Narea however easily saved by the left post. Vasil Mechev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Vasil Mechev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Union temuko F.C.'s Simón Narea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Agudo in the 31st minute of play. Vasil Mechev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Victoriano having to interfere. Simón Narea was a little too slow when Humberto Evans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Vasil Mechev made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Terremoto's Gerónimo Abello got a free kick in the 54th minute. Vasil Mechev's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gilberto Victoriano firmly grabbed it by the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Union temuko F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Siluna Charme came free, but Simón Narea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siluna Charme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Simón Narea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simón Narea came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Terremoto's Rufino Arcangel. But to his dismay, Rufino Arcangel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Agudo in the 80th minute of play forced Union temuko F.C.'s goalkeeper Simón Narea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simón Narea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Agudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Siluna Charme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Siluna Charme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasil Mechev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Victoriano having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Union temuko F.C.'s zone, Siluna Charme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simón Narea came out of the goal and Siluna Charme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
