Ruperto Dagorret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Echenique in the 29th minute of play. Hermelando Oses sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Eulalio Echenique notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ★Arturo Fernández Vial★'s Ruperto Dagorret. Ruperto Dagorret was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Portal to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Universidade Católica's Ruperto Dagorret threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eulalio Echenique, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Ambrosio Portal fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★Arturo Fernández Vial★'s protests and gave Ambrosio Portal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Ambrosio Portal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermelando Oses sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christiano Obanos struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ruperto Dagorret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidade Católica. Universidade Católica's Christiano Obanos suffered a concussion in the 97th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Fausto Buchanan fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★Arturo Fernández Vial★'s protests and gave Fausto Buchanan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ★Arturo Fernández Vial★'s Fausto Buchanan got a free kick in the 99th minute.
