When Tauro Lecaros came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Copiapo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tauro Lecaros couldn't finish the play. Flavio Aspillaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Carreño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Bayron Araujo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Aspillaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odol Martos in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Odol Martos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Aspillaga was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Raúl Manso de Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DIENTE FC's Odol Martos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Copiapo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Odol Martos came free, but Flavio Aspillaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Carreño in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Aspillaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Odol Martos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Aspillaga came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by DIENTE FC's Odol Martos. But to his dismay, Odol Martos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 64thth minute of the game Tauro Lecaros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIENTE FC's Matko Boskov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Copiapo AFC's Flavio Aspillaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Copiapo AFC from getting a goal against them. Flavio Aspillaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odol Martos in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Copiapo AFC's goalkeeper Flavio Aspillaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odol Martos. Odol Martos in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Aspillaga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 92nd minute, Paulino Carreño reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Aspillaga. The goal made the score 0-3. DIENTE FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
