A wasted opportunity for Alca. 9 minutes into the game, Alca's Angelo Zuloaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reyes Goncalves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vasco Villalba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Reyes Goncalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reyes Goncalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Zuloaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The long shot by Norino Echaurren in the 22nd minute really tested Patricio Demanet's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 23 minutes, Gabino Lantadilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavs FC and the Alca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabino Lantadilla hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Vasco Villalba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reyes Goncalves having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Villalba in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reyes Goncalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the game, Hugo Orlando Saa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alca the free kick. Hugo Orlando Saa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Angelo Zuloaga came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Alca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Zuloaga couldn't finish the play. Patricio Demanet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Savier Vidma went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Teodor Jina charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Jina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Cavs FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Jina. Reyes Goncalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Villalba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Villalba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Reyes Goncalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elodio Bianchi was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Vasco Villalba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reyes Goncalves. Vasco Villalba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 58th match minute, Cavs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuelo Talledo to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Alca's goal looked a bit too open when Savier Vidma came free, but Patricio Demanet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elodio Bianchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bernardo Véjar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Véjar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Demanet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cavs FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alca's performance. The match ended with a win for Alca.
