Voigue's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Jacobo Jofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Adolfo Ostermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Voigue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagunillas AFC the free kick. Sisebuto Goyenechea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. Lagunillas AFC's Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

Lagunillas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Alberto Laso de la Vega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Lagunillas AFC were the better team. Lagunillas AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
