Los Tres Animales's Miguel Ángel Marín played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pere Formoso in the 21st minute of play. Carlo Coulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, Ramadas FC's Gaston Aguilar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Ángel Marín made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Edmundo Torrealba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ramadas FC's Hermelando Argomedo got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Álvaro Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ramadas FC's Carlo Coulin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ramadas FC from getting a goal against them. Remigio Ipinza hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Aguilar was the one to do the kick off. Pere Formoso in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miguel Ángel Marín, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nacho Atria hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The long shot by Hermelando Argomedo in the 78th minute really tested Miguel Ángel Marín's skills.
