Reinaldo Agudo succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Evelio Allende's late challenge caught a Paredones AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evelio Allende helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Penco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Allende to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Elear Quevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferrán Bernales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Juan Alfonso Panatt made a huge save. Yeray Urresti came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Paredones AFC's Reinaldo Agudo. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Agudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 42nd minute of the match Honorio Mac Kenzie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Alfonso Panatt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Juanjo Bacheler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yeray Urresti was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47thth minute of the game Pedro José Pimentel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Penco FC's Yeray Urresti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juanjo Bacheler to strike the kick off in the second half. Máximo Hagedorn hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Disvandis Garzón charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Disvandis Garzón the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The player immediately received a yellow card.
