Horacio Jesus Serna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Astorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 44th minute, Nil Yudin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Osorno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Jesus Villouta to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Máximo Astorga made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Máximo Astorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Jesus Serna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Excurses Team defense, Victoriano Minden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miquel Waiben. The Excurses Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miquel Waiben should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Osorno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Astorga came free, but Horacio Jesus Serna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Victoriano Minden came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Osorno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Minden couldn't finish the play. Máximo Astorga charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Máximo Astorga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Máximo Astorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Minden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miquel Waiben having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Cobaleda during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victoriano Minden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osorno FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
