Diego Haverbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Excurses Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ervigio Borges to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Excurses Team booed when Quilapalo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remi Tupper didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Florentino Panzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Excurses Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Fernando Nil to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Quilapalo got a freekick which was hit by Milián Lastarria. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Máximo Astorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Excurses Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Máximo Astorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos José Polanco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Quilapalo's Pinone Azúa got a free kick in the 19th minute. Diego Haverbeck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miquel Waiben having to make a save. Miquel Waiben took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Haverbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pinone Azúa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Carlos José Polanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Astorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Diego Haverbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raimundo L´Hotelier came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Quilapalo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo L´Hotelier couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Quilapalo booed when Excurses Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ervigio Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Máximo Astorga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carlos José Polanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Felipe Subercaseaux in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Quilapalo's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Oliva came free, but Carlos José Polanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos José Polanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Astorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 76th minute Arnoldo Oliva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos José Polanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes, Remi Tupper mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilapalo and the Excurses Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quilapalo! In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Excurses Team. Ervigio Borges stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos José Polanco. 1-0. A collision led to Excurses Team getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ervigio Borges hit a great ball. Miquel Waiben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Mendizabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quilapalo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Excurses Team.
