In the 22nd minute, Angelillo Mac Rae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Bernales in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Iturralde saved IMPERIO F.B.C. from getting behind. Pere Basanguren took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godofredo Iturralde. Godofredo Iturralde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Washington Deves scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 庞杰辉, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Aris Zisis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Deves in the 52nd minute of play forced Shielifield United's goalkeeper 庞杰辉 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Shielifield United's goalkeeper 庞杰辉 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cornelio Jory. 60 minutes into the game, IMPERIO F.B.C.'s Washington Deves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 庞杰辉 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Geofredo Gorostizaga sped through IMPERIO F.B.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Godofredo Iturralde. Geofredo Gorostizaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Godofredo Iturralde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shielifield United's Severiano Bernales got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermín Puente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Godofredo Iturralde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Alfonso Segura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IMPERIO F.B.C.'s Godofredo Iturralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Bernales in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Jory got free with 庞杰辉 in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shielifield United were furious when Artur Mockiewicz was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of IMPERIO F.B.C. booed when Shielifield United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Mockiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. IMPERIO F.B.C.'s Godofredo Iturralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Bernales in the 88th minute of play. When Shielifield United's Geofredo Gorostizaga in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pere Basanguren couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Shielifield United fans cheered their team off the field, for while IMPERIO F.B.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
