With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Bernales in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Víctor Javier Oyanedel saved Deportes Iquique from getting behind. Deportes Iquique's Víctor Javier Oyanedel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Bernales in the 91st minute of play. Despite being the better team, Shielifield United failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
