A collision led to El Dragón FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Arnaldo Portusagasti hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Valiente Salvatierra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huequecura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Dragón FC the free kick. Valiente Salvatierra hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Horacio Jesus Lavanderos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zebulón Lorie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Uriel Risopatrón made a huge save. Uriel Risopatrón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zebulón Lorie in the 26th minute. Valiente Salvatierra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Uriel Risopatrón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Jesus Lavanderos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. El Dragón FC's Uriel Risopatrón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save El Dragón FC from getting a goal against them. Velasco Dabrowsky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Risopatrón having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, El Dragón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Portusagasti to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 39 in the game by Zebulón Lorie from a close distance when the talented Uriel Risopatrón managed to make a qualified save. El Dragón FC's players were relieved. After 41 played minutes Huequecura got a freekick which was hit by Ceandro Queirolo. If Marcos Andrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xulián Niza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Andrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Uriel Risopatrón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valiente Salvatierra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ceandro Queirolo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uriel Risopatrón was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The supporters of Huequecura booed when El Dragón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Portusagasti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Andrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Julio Segarra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xulián Niza. That made the score 0-2 in the 68 minute of play. After 72 played minutes Huequecura got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Manuel Moyano. 77 minutes into the match, Huequecura's Valiente Salvatierra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Risopatrón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valiente Salvatierra in the 79th minute of play forced El Dragón FC's goalkeeper Uriel Risopatrón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Panatt's late challenge caught a Huequecura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Panatt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Dragón FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alfonso Panatt hit a great ball. Uriel Risopatrón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valiente Salvatierra in the 81st minute of play. El Dragón FC's Uriel Risopatrón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valiente Salvatierra in the 89th minute of play. Huequecura's Xulián Niza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Segarra in the 90th minute of play. Huequecura's Valiente Salvatierra got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, El Dragón FC's Xosé Barahona got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, El Dragón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zebulón Lorie came free, but Uriel Risopatrón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The El Dragón FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Dragón FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
