But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Droste couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Lauro Gallardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alessandro Amaral, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Eufemio Hesler took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alessandro Amaral to make any attempt to save it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Antofazul FC had played much better football throughout.
