In the 10th minute, Pietro Reinaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pau Casanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauro Landman hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Benicio Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Luis Chavarria in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Juan Luis Chavarria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benicio Pinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roger Castillo Velasco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Nicanor Pérez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute, Pau Casanova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pietro Reinaga during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pietro Reinaga kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Juan Luis Chavarria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pau Casanova in the 38th minute of play forced Pinuta's goalkeeper Benicio Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BlackBuin Rovers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Luis María Comas 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis María Comas was the one to do the kick off. Pinuta's Benicio Pinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Pinuta from getting a goal against them. Pau Casanova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benicio Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pinuta's Luis Villablanca got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Pau Casanova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When BlackBuin Rovers's Juan Luis Chavarria in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinuta's goalie prevented a goal. In the 66th match minute, Pinuta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Faverau to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Juan Luis Chavarria rounded Pinuta's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. Raymundo Soto Tapia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Juan Luis Chavarria came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the BlackBuin Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Luis Chavarria couldn't finish the play. Juan Luis Chavarria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, BlackBuin Rovers's Benicio Pinto threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Luis Chavarria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 93 minutes into the match, BlackBuin Rovers's Juan Luis Chavarria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benicio Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Juan Luis Chavarria recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benicio Pinto. Juan Luis Chavarria showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5.
