After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurilio Catrileo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Maurilio Catrileo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pinuta's Benicio Pinto. Benicio Pinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jimeno Faverau hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Ondino Mioño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Roger Castillo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Manuel Rodríguez 1186 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nastasio Faez hit a great ball. When the match was over Manuel Rodríguez 1186 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pinuta throughout the match.
