Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Caamaño took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barnechea FC's zone, Marco Rondón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Matildo Villouta came out of the goal and Marco Rondón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Espina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Patricio Espina sped through Barnechea FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Villouta. In the 12th minute Jorge Caamaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédéric Chopin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes Valle Verde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Orlondón Peacock who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Barnechea FC's corner Orlondón Peacock fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frédéric Chopin quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Valle Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Caamaño came free, but Frédéric Chopin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Espina in the 27th minute of play forced Barnechea FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Villouta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Valle Verde FC's Patricio Espina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Matildo Villouta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Orlondón Peacock shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Patricio Espina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valle Verde FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Espina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matildo Villouta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Barnechea FC defense, Álvaro Yanque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Villouta. The Barnechea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Matildo Villouta should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Espina to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Espina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Villouta having to interfere. Patricio Espina might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Matildo Villouta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Espina ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Caamaño's late challenge caught a Valle Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Caamaño helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barnechea FC's Jorge Caamaño got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Álvaro Yanque struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Villouta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valle Verde FC. 66 minutes into the game, Fermín Depsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnechea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valle Verde FC the free kick. The supporters of Valle Verde FC booed when Barnechea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermín Depsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Marcos Lagarrigue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Espinas short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Ubaldo Matildo Villouta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 78 minutes, Patricio Espina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valle Verde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Espina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Barnechea FC's Jacindo Munster got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Patricio Espina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Valle Verde FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 86 minutes into the match, Valle Verde FC's Álvaro Yanque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ubaldo Matildo Villouta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Espina struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ubaldo Matildo Villouta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valle Verde FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Valle Verde FC's Marco Rondón slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ubaldo Matildo Villouta. That made the score 0-6 after 92 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Valle Verde FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barnechea FC.
