An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Acosta in the 6th minute of play forced BlackBuin Rovers's goalkeeper Nicanor Pérez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Marciano Martinovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Pérez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Rondón in the 10th minute of play. Raymundo Soto Tapia charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raymundo Soto Tapia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raymundo Soto Tapia kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Laureano Acosta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valle Verde FC and the BlackBuin Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BlackBuin Rovers booed when Valle Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frédéric Chopin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pau Casanova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BlackBuin Rovers's Nicanor Pérez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save BlackBuin Rovers from getting a goal against them. Laureano Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, BlackBuin Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Pais to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Pérez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Laureano Acosta. Raymundo Soto Tapia hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With his leg Nicanor Pérez managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Valle Verde FC's Patricio Espina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Marco Rondón came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Valle Verde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Rondón couldn't finish the play. Patricio Espina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Nicanor Pérez made a huge save. BlackBuin Rovers's Pau Casanova got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Espina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Pérez having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Valle Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Casanova came free, but Frédéric Chopin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pau Casanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Valle Verde FC's goalkeeper Frédéric Chopin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pau Casanova to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 minutes of play, Valle Verde FC's Patricio Espina made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicanor Pérez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Yanque in the 67th minute of the match. Pau Casanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédéric Chopin having to interfere. Juan Luis Chavarria kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, BlackBuin Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Espina came free, but Nicanor Pérez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Espina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nicanor Pérez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Patricio Espina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Pérez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valle Verde FC's Patricio Espina got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Valle Verde FC's Álvaro Yanque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Pérez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. BlackBuin Rovers's Nicanor Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Espina in the 93rd minute of play. Valle Verde FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
