Spectators: 8061 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 150) When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Armando Paredes sped through MERIDA FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marino Somoza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Paredes in the 9th minute of play forced MERIDA FC's goalkeeper Marino Somoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliazar Guajardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mateo Vedillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marino Somoza having to make a save. Marino Somoza came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Spectre FC's Armando Paredes. But to his dismay, Armando Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Marino Somoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Paredes in the 20th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Héctor Eastman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marino Somoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomil Rozanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Spectre FC's Armando Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marino Somoza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marino Somoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Rozanski in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Spectre FC's Armando Paredes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marino Somoza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Armando Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marino Somoza having to interfere. When Spectre FC's Ludomil Rozanski in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MERIDA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliazar Guajardo was the one to do the kick off. Marino Somoza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomil Rozanski's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Spectre FC booed when MERIDA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliazar Guajardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spectre FC made a substitution. Abelardo Bertiz replaced Armando Paredes. Eliazar Guajardo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Nauzet Goycolea hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Spectre FC's Savier Barrera was substituted for Ludomil Rozanski. After 64 played minutes MERIDA FC got a freekick which was hit by Nauzet Goycolea. Savier Barrera was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Spectre FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bratan Tepavicharov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Savier Barrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Marino Somoza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abelardo Bertiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 minutes of play, Spectre FC's Abelardo Bertiz made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marino Somoza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nauzet Goycolea hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Abelardo Bertiz struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Marino Somoza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spectre FC. Savier Barrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Spectre FC's zone, Martino Ureta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Vedillo came out of the goal and Martino Ureta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Spectre FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MERIDA FC.
