Juan Alfonso Balart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliazar Guajardo's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Amado Coloma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marino Somoza having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, MERIDA FC's goalkeeper Marino Somoza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urtsín Bezanilla. Juan Alfonso Balart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martino Ureta went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliazar Guajardo in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Alfonso Balart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urtsín Bezanilla got free with Marino Somoza in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Eliazar Guajardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Alfonso Balart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, MERIDA FC's Martino Ureta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Alfonso Balart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Eliazar Guajardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 minutes, Héctor Eastman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MERIDA FC and the Maxcianos Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Amado Coloma made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Martino Ureta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Juan Alfonso Balart was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martino Ureta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Juan Alfonso Balart made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Martino Ureta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Alfonso Balart was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 66 minutes into the match, Maxcianos Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Martino Ureta came free, but Juan Alfonso Balart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Martino Ureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Héctor Eastman kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Marino Somoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Coloma in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Coloma in the 77th minute of play forced MERIDA FC's goalkeeper Marino Somoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Héctor Eastman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Devilat during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Maxcianos Fc getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Marcelino Devilat hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martino Ureta got free with Juan Alfonso Balart in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliazar Guajardo in the 92nd minute of play forced Maxcianos Fc's goalkeeper Juan Alfonso Balart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Alberto Ahrens kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
