Juan Alfonso Balart made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Velasco Navarrete sent off a good shot on target. When Amado Coloma came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Maxcianos Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Coloma couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Tuñon kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Patricio Meléndez's late challenge caught a Maxcianos Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Meléndez helped the player get up and apologised. Nereo Arrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsín Bezanilla in the 41st minute of play. Mulchen's Nereo Arrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Coloma in the 42nd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maxcianos Fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Coloma was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Mulchen's Nereo Arrate got control of the ball when Urtsín Bezanilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Teofilio Undurraga fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maxcianos Fc's protests and gave Teofilio Undurraga a yellow card for diving instead. Teofilio Undurraga kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Patricio Meléndez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Maxcianos Fc's Juan Alfonso Balart didn't even have to move. 67 minutes into the game, Ariano Otarola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mulchen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maxcianos Fc the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Landon in the 82nd minute of play forced Maxcianos Fc's goalkeeper Juan Alfonso Balart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velasco Navarrete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Mulchen's goalkeeper Nereo Arrate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urtsín Bezanilla. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
