Macaquiño fc were furious when Victor Hugo Almendras was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Macaquiño fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Club Deportivo Maipú a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Manuel Grez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Macaquiño fc's Tomasino Briones. 4-3. Tomasino Briones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Javier Martin in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Maipú's zone, Luis Angel Tiñoli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Domínguez came out of the goal and Luis Angel Tiñoli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
