Spectators: 7947 (Terracing: 5961, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cornelio Aguilera got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Oscar Daire made a precise shot to the right of Jimmy Björkdahl. Melozal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 9 minutes, Próspero Agnese managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lerios Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Próspero Agnese was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored Melozal's protests and gave Kjell Billvall a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Melozal got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Billvall. After having played for 14 minutes, Epifanío Felice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naelio Jozic in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Björkdahl saved Melozal from getting behind. When Taurino Robinson fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melozal's protests and gave Taurino Robinson a yellow card for diving instead. Taurino Robinson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Próspero Agnese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Melozal's goalkeeper Jimmy Björkdahl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Oscar Daire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Björkdahl was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanío Felice in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Björkdahl saved Melozal from getting behind. Naelio Jozic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Björkdahl having to interfere. The supporters of Melozal booed when Lerios Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Próspero Agnese didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salomone Coloma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jimmy Björkdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naelio Jozic's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Melozal's Jimmy Björkdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanío Felice in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanío Felice was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Lerios Fc booed when Melozal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Epifanío Felice in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Björkdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ludovico Campbell came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Melozal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludovico Campbell couldn't finish the play. In the 55th match minute, Lerios Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Próspero Agnese to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Kjell Billvall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cornelio Aguilera hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Próspero Agnese fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lerios Fc's protests and gave Próspero Agnese a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Oscar Daire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melozal's Jimmy Björkdahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Próspero Agnese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Björkdahl having to interfere. Ermegildo Iturrieta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimmy Björkdahl having to make a save. Jimmy Björkdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Próspero Agnese, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Naelio Jozic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lerios Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Naelio Jozic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Björkdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Naelio Jozic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jimmy Björkdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Melozal booed when Lerios Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Próspero Agnese didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Asenjo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salomone Coloma. Salomone Coloma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Melozal's Jimmy Björkdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Daire in the 80th minute of play. With his leg Jimmy Björkdahl managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Lerios Fc's Oscar Daire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Lerios Fc's Próspero Agnese got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, Oscar Daire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jimmy Björkdahl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
