Naelio Jozic showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, Lerios Fc's Şükrü Erek threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fernán Súnico, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Oscar Daire struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Şükrü Erek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lerios Fc. 38 minutes into the match, FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS's goalkeeper Şükrü Erek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naelio Jozic. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Zañartu in the 39th minute of play forced Lerios Fc's goalkeeper Salomone Coloma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teddy Goleš to make the kick off. Şükrü Erek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Daire, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Leopoldo Zañartu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Salomone Coloma made a huge save.
